DESCRIPTION

1658611-3 is a low-profile all-plastic D-subminiature plug connector designed for flat ribbon cable termination. This HDF-22 series connector features 15 contact positions in a shell size 2 configuration with 4-40 threaded inserts for secure mounting. The housing and cover are constructed from 94V-0 rated thermoplastic in black, while the contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex plating featuring .000030 min gold on the mating end and .000100-.000200 bright tin on the termination end with .000050 min nickel underplating. This connector is RoHS compliant and intermateable with size 22 D-subminiature connectors dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308. Common applications include industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers and peripherals, and data storage systems.
