DESCRIPTION
171826-6 is a horizontal mount post header connector from TE Connectivity's Economy Interconnection Series (EIS), designed for wire-to-board connections. This tin-plated header features a horizontal mounting orientation without kink and is available in configurations ranging from 2 to 12 positions with a 2.5mm or 5.0mm centerline pitch. The connector operates at a rated voltage of 250V with current ratings from 2A to 5A depending on wire gauge (30 AWG to 20 AWG) and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 95°C. It mates with standard crimp receptacle connectors (171822) and IDC receptacle connectors (172053) for reliable wire-to-board termination. Common applications include industrial machinery, factory automation, business equipment, and household appliances where compact, economical high-density wiring connections are required.
