DESCRIPTION
205859-1 is a 37-position D-subminiature plug connector designed for right-angle PCB mounting applications. This HDP-20 series connector features a size 4 steel shell with zinc plating and a front metal shell configuration. The connector utilizes brass contacts with gold flash plating on the mating area and tin-lead over nickel solder tail plating, with a post size of 0.64 mm [.025 in] and termination post length of 3.18 mm [0.125 in]. The thermoplastic housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability and supports PCB thicknesses of 0.062 in [1.57 mm] with through-hole mounting. This connector is ELV compliant and wave solder capable up to 265°C, making it suitable for standard board-to-board interconnect applications.
