DESCRIPTION
5749210-5 is a 50-position cable receptacle connector from the AMPLIMITE .050 Series, designed for high-density D-subminiature interconnect applications. This connector features a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centerline grid spacing with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts (minimum .000030 inch / 0.00076 mm gold on mating end) and tin plating on the termination end. The housing and covers are made from thermoplastic material with 94V-0 flammability rating, and the shell is steel plated with bright tin over copper. It comes with assembled standard termination covers and is compatible with 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire, solid or 7-strand, with insulation diameter of .029-.036 inch (0.74-0.89 mm). This connector is ideal for data and device applications requiring reliable, high-density connections and requires a backshell kit for complete assembly.
