DESCRIPTION

The HONEYWELL part EXA-AR62 is a MICRO SWITCH™ Hazardous Location Switch that is designed for use in hazardous environments. It features an epoxy-coated aluminum housing for durability and protection against corrosion. The switch has a side rotary actuator with a momentary action and a bronze roller lever for smooth operation. It is designed for clockwise rotation when viewed from the nameplate side. This switch has a single pole double throw (SPDT) configuration and can handle a maximum current rating of 20 A at various voltage levels (125, 250, or 480 Vac). It has a NEMA 1 seal rating, ensuring dust and moisture resistance. The switch is capable of operating within a wide temperature range, from -40 °C to 70 °C (-40 °F to 158 °F). It features a 1/2 - 14 NPT conduit termination for easy installation. In terms of hazardous location certifications, this switch is suitable for use in NEMA 7 (Class I, Div. 1 & 2, Groups C & D) and NEMA 9 (Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G) rated environments. It also complies with Ex d IIB + H2 T6 Category II 2 G standards. This switch has been approved by various agencies, including ATEX (CE), CSA, UL, IEC Ex, and INMETRO. It features both external and internal ground screws for enhanced safety. Please note that this switch does not come with a mounting bracket or mounting hardware.
