DESCRIPTION

The HONEYWELL part EX-AR800 is a MICRO SWITCH™ Hazardous Location Switch designed for use in potentially explosive environments. It features an epoxy-coated aluminum housing for durability and corrosion resistance. The switch has a side rotary design with a momentary action and a bronze roller lever. When viewed from the nameplate side, the switch has a clockwise rotation. It has a single pole double throw (SPDT) configuration and can handle a maximum current of 15 A at 125, 250, or 480 Vac. The switch has a NEMA 1 seal rating and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to 70 °C (-40 °F to 158 °F). It has a 1/2 - 14 NPT conduit termination for easy installation. The EX-AR800 is suitable for use in hazardous locations classified as NEMA 7: Class I, Div. 1 & 2, Groups B, C & D; NEMA 9: Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G; Ex d IIB + H2 T6 Category II 2 G. It is approved by ATEX (CE), CSA, UL, IEC Ex, and INMETRO.The switch comes with an external and internal ground screw, as well as a mounting bracket and hardware packets, which are provided unassembled.
